Four Ugandan Killed in South Sudan

MOYO-At least four people of Uganda origins were believed to have been killed in fire front line in south Sudan.

The Security sources revealed to West Nile connect that four were believed to have jointed south Sudan rebel group against President Sliver Kiir’s government.

“There are many people who have gone to look for greener pastures in south Sudan were believed to have jointed rebel groups”, the source said.

Details of the Victims

The victims were identified as Alumai Rufino, a resident of Pabolo Village in Metu Sub County and Alumai Sunday Eriga, a former Pupil of Dufile Primary school in Dufile Sub County, Moyo District.

Unzi Martin Gabriel, resident of Bibia village in Atiak Sub County, Amuru District and Madra John Peter, a resident of Adjumani District.

The bodies of the deceased were not brought to Uganda yet but the office Resident district commissioner and other security operatives in Moyo District are now silently looking for the relatives.

Lt Col Elias Okolong, the UPDF operation commander along disputed areas of Uganda- South Sudan said he is not aware of any killing reports but what he knows was that there were recently fights at Pageri in south Sudan.

He also revealed that information on ground that there is a south Sudanese national identified as Mr Alfred Ladu is recruiting some veterans to join the rebels groups.

Ms Collins Obedi, the Acting Resident district commissioner Moyo District has appealed to locals not to join rebel activities in south Sudan that it can endangers their lives.
