The construction of Paridi stadium in Adjumani district in to a modern stadium has commenced with official hand over of the site to the constructing company Zawadi Hotel limited.
the stadium will be constructed with funding from UNHCR. according to the managing director Zawadi hotel a local based company Amaza Emmanuel in the first phase of the project which will only involve fencing the pitch, the district will receive 505 million shillings from UNHCR.
Amaza assured the public not to do any shoddy work since he is going to be a beneficiary of the modern stadium when completed.
the site was on 4th January handed to the contractor and work is expected to resume immediately.
